We arrive fully equipped with our own tools, ladders, and torque drivers, so you only need to provide the gazebo kit and access to the site.
Why professional playset installation matters
A swing set is the one thing in your backyard a child hangs their full weight on and swings. Assembly mistakes that would be cosmetic on a bookshelf are safety issues here. That's the whole reason to hire it out.
What a proper install gets right:
- Anchoring. A set that isn't anchored can rock or tip when kids swing hard or climb to one side. We anchor to the ground so the set stays where it's built.
- Level footing. An out-of-level set puts uneven load on the frame and the swing beams. We level before we build, not after.
- Correct fastener torque. Swing-beam and A-frame bolts have to be tight to spec — snug enough to hold, not so tight they crush the wood.
- Following the manufacturer's safety guidance. We build to the instructions and the manufacturer's spacing and hardware requirements rather than improvising.
Do you anchor playsets into the ground?
Yes. Anchoring is the difference between a set that lasts and one that shifts. Most sets ship with ground-anchor hardware;For sets on a slope or on hard-packed clay (common in the Upstate), anchoring may need extra hardware, which we'll flag before we quote.
How long does swing set assembly take?
A small metal set takes approximately" 2 to 4 hours. A large cedar playset with a fort, slide, and multiple swings is a full-day build, approximately" 6 to 10 hours, sometimes two crew members across most of a day. These are estimates; actual time depends on the set, the ground, and site access.
We bring all our own tools. You supply the set and a reasonably level, clear spot to build it.
