Gazebo assembly with Box To Built starts at $499. The pricing begins with a 10x10 soft-top gazebo, while our premium option features a 12x14 cedar hardtop with a two-tier roof. For those interested in gazebo assembly or looking for gazebo installation options, you'll find our full starting-at pricing chart on our services page.
Size and roof. Hardtop and cedar kits weigh more, have more fasteners, and require more hands compared to an aluminum soft-top during gazebo assembly.
Anchoring. Gazebo installation includes anchoring into an existing concrete pad or deck. However, anchoring into the ground, pavers, or a new footing incurs additional costs.
Site access. If the crew cannot get a cart within 50 feet of the build site, it may take more time to complete the gazebo assembly.
We quote a flat price before we start. There is no hourly billing, ensuring no surprises on the invoice.

Most gazebos require a two-person crew approximately 6 to 10 hours for assembly in a single day. For a 12x14 cedar hardtop, the installation can take closer to 10 to 12 hours. These are just estimates, not guarantees; actual gazebo assembly time can vary based on kit condition, site access, and weather conditions. Manufacturer instructions typically suggest assembly time for two people working without interruptions, which is seldomhow a homeowner's weekend actually unfolds.
We arrive fully equipped with our own tools, ladders, and torque drivers, so you only need to provide the gazebo kit and access to the site.
We provide gazebo assembly for every major brand sold in the Upstate. Our expertise in gazebo assembly is unmatched. The cedar gazebos and pavilions which are available at Costco, represent the heaviest and most complex kits on the market, and they are often the ones homeowners start and then call us to finish. If you purchased a gazebo at Costco, Sam's Club, or directly, we have almost certainly completed assembly of your exact model before.
We offer gazebo installation for:
- Sojag — aluminum and steel hardtop gazebos
- Sunjoy — steel-framed hardtop and soft-top models
- Backyard Discovery — cedar pergolas, pavilions, and gazebos
- Purple Leaf, Mellcom, and Costway — imported hardtop kits
- Any kit from Lowe's, Home Depot, Sam's Club, Wayfair, or Amazon
If your gazebo came in a box, we can build it. We've successfully handled kits with missing hardware, mislabeled parts, and poorly translated instruction manuals that are often difficult to understand.
Yes. Box To Built provides expert gazebo assembly services for gazebo kits from every major retailer across Upstate South Carolina and within about 100 miles — the retailer doesn't change the build, but the kit does.
Costco gazebos. Most gazebos sold at Costco are Yardistry cedar kits. Seasonal offerings from Sojag and Sunjoy hardtops are also available. Whether your gazebo came off the warehouse floor or through Costco.com delivery, we’re here for professional gazebo installation.
Sam's Club gazebos. Sam's Club frequently rotates hardtop models from brands like Sojag, Sunjoy, and its own Member's Mark. Our skilled team offers the same flat quote for assembly regardless of where you purchased your gazebo.
Wayfair and Amazon gazebos. For online kits from Purple Leaf, Mellcom, Costway, Erommy, and similar imported hardtops, be aware they often ship in multiple boxes arriving on different days, with instructions that assume two experienced builders. Wait until every box arrives, send us the model number, and we’ll provide a quote for gazebo assembly.
Lowe's and Home Depot gazebos. We also handle in-store and online kits, including those from Allen + Roth and Hampton Bay, whether hardtop or soft-top.

Permit requirements for gazebo assembly and installation depend on your county and the size of the structure. Many South Carolina jurisdictions exempt small detached accessory structures below a square-footage threshold, but that threshold varies by county, and HOA rules apply independently of county code. For example, if you're planning a gazebo assembly, it's essential to check with your county building department before you buy. While we can share our observations on jobs in Greenville and Spartanburg counties, we are not the permitting authority and do not pull permits on your behalf.
Every gazebo assembly features:
- Full unboxing and hardware inventory before we start
- Complete frame and roof assembly to manufacturer specifications
- Anchoring to an existing concrete pad or deck
- Torque check on all structural fasteners
- Full cleanup and packaging removal
Please note that our gazebo installation does not include concrete pouring, footing excavation, electrical work, or site grading.

We build Sojag, Sunjoy, Backyard Discovery, and any kit from Lowe's, Home Depot, Sam's Club, Wayfair, or Amazon and many more.
No. We assemble the gazebo you buy. This usually saves money — retailers mark up installation, and you keep the manufacturer's warranty relationship.
Both. Aluminum and steel hardtops (Sojag, Sunjoy) and cedar hardtops (Yardistry, Backyard Discovery) are our core work. Hardtop roof panels are heavier and need two people, which is already how we crew every job.
Yes, if the hardware is complete. We'll inventory the parts before starting and tell you what's missing.
We inventory hardware before assembly begins. If something's missing, we'll identify the exact part number so you can request a replacement from the manufacturer, and we'll return to finish the build once it arrives.
Yes. Half-finished gazebos are one of the most common calls we get. Send photos of where you left off and we'll quote the rest of the build.
Yes — see our pergola assembly and shed assembly services. Many customers book a gazebo and a matching pergola on the same visit.

Yes — all three are within our 100-mile service radius. Jobs outside the core Upstate may require a travel fee, which we include in your flat quote up front.
Yes. Anchoring into ground, pavers, or gravel requires different hardware than a concrete pad and may add to the quote.
Same-week service is often available. Spring and early summer book out fastest, so the earlier you call after your kit arrives, the better.
