Gym & Workout Equipment Assembly

Gym & Workout Equipment Assembly Service

Just had a treadmill or a home gym delivered and now you're staring at 300 pounds of boxes, a bag of bolts, and a manual that assumes you own a workshop? Box To Built assembles workout and gym equipment of every kind across Greenville, the Upstate, and neighboring states: treadmills, home gyms, power racks, benches, an

How much does gym equipment assembly cost?

Gym equipment assembly in the Upstate is priced flat per item, with the final number driven mostly by the size, weight, and part count of each machine.

Three things move the price:

Size and part count: a flat weight bench is a quick build; a full power rack, functional trainer, or multi-station home gym has hundreds of parts, heavy steel, and takes real time.

Anchoring and setup: bolting racks to the floor or studs, routing and tensioning cables, and leveling a treadmill so it runs smooth all add a little to the job.

Quantity: outfitting a whole home gym in one visit lowers the per-item price, and most of our equipment jobs are a full setup at once.

Send us a photo of your box or the model number and we'll give you a firm, same-day quote. No guesswork, no surprise fees.

Gym Equipment Assemble

What gym and workout equipment do you assemble?

We assemble just about anything that comes flat-packed, boxed, or crated:

Strength and free weights Power racks, squat racks, Smith machines, functional trainers, and multi-station home gyms. Adjustable and flat benches, dumbbell racks, weight trees, and plate storage. We route the cables, torque the bolts, and anchor heavy racks so they stay put under load.

Cardio machines Treadmills, ellipticals, exercise and spin bikes, rowers, and stair climbers, built and leveled so they run smooth and quiet with no wobble or walking across the floor.

Wall-mounted and accessory gear Wall-mounted racks, pull-up bars, boxing and heavy bags, mirrors, and rubber flooring or tiles laid down. We mount to the studs so it holds real weight.

We arrive fully equipped with our own tools, ladders, and torque drivers, so you only need to provide the gazebo kit and access to the site.

Do you assemble equipment from any store or brand?

Any brand, from any retailer, whether it shipped from a big-box store, an online seller, or a specialty fitness dealer. The ones we see most often include:

Peloton, NordicTrack & Bowflex: bikes, treadmills, and home gyms Sole, ProForm & Schwinn: cardio machines Rogue, Titan, REP Fitness & Force USA: racks, rigs, and benches Any big-box or secondhand find: Dick's, Walmart, Amazon, and Facebook Marketplace pickups.

Bring us the equipment and we'll quote it the same day. We arrive with our own tools, drivers, and levels, so you don't have to buy or rent a thing.

We offer gazebo installation for:

- Sojag — aluminum and steel hardtop gazebos

- Sunjoy — steel-framed hardtop and soft-top models

- Backyard Discovery — cedar pergolas, pavilions, and gazebos

- Purple Leaf, Mellcom, and Costway — imported hardtop kits

- Any kit from Lowe's, Home Depot, Sam's Club, Wayfair, or Amazon

If your gazebo came in a box, we can build it. We've successfully handled kits with missing hardware, mislabeled parts, and poorly translated instruction manuals that are often difficult to understand.

Do you pick up equipment from the store?

Yes. If your machine is still sitting at the store or waiting at a warehouse, we can pick it up and bring it to you before we build it, for a pickup fee based on the distance and the size of the load. Just send us the store, the item, and where it's going, and we'll fold the pickup into your same-day quote.

Costco gazebos. Most gazebos sold at Costco are Yardistry cedar kits. Seasonal offerings from Sojag and Sunjoy hardtops are also available. Whether your gazebo came off the warehouse floor or through Costco.com delivery, we’re here for professional gazebo installation.

Sam's Club gazebos. Sam's Club frequently rotates hardtop models from brands like Sojag, Sunjoy, and its own Member's Mark. Our skilled team offers the same flat quote for assembly regardless of where you purchased your gazebo.

Wayfair and Amazon gazebos. For online kits from Purple Leaf, Mellcom, Costway, Erommy, and similar imported hardtops, be aware they often ship in multiple boxes arriving on different days, with instructions that assume two experienced builders. Wait until every box arrives, send us the model number, and we’ll provide a quote for gazebo assembly.

Lowe's and Home Depot gazebos. We also handle in-store and online kits, including those from Allen + Roth and Hampton Bay, whether hardtop or soft-top.

Box To Built is an independent assembly and installation company. Do you anchor racks and heavy equipment so it's safe?

Yes, and on tall or loaded equipment it's the most important step, not an afterthought. Power racks, functional trainers, and home gyms can tip or shift under a heavy lift, and manufacturers call for anchoring for exactly that reason. We bolt racks and rigs to the floor or the wall studs as part of the build, tension and route every cable correctly, and level cardio machines so nothing rocks. Kids or pets around the gym?

Tell us, and we'll make sure everything tall and heavy is secured before we leave.

Do you get it into the basement or garage, and take the boxes away?

Yes. Gym gear ships heavy and awkward, and we handle moving the boxes to where the equipment is going, whether that's a basement, garage, or spare room. When we're done we break down and haul off all the cardboard, foam, and crating, so you're left with a finished setup and a clean space, not a pile of packaging by the curb.

Why professional gym equipment assembly matters

Fitness equipment is built to be shipped flat and heavy, not put together by one person on a garage floor. One bolt left loose on a rack, a cable routed wrong on a home gym, or a treadmill that isn't level, and you've got a machine that wears out fast or isn't safe to load. Professional assembly gets the details right:

Torqued to spec: every bolt and fastener tightened to the manufacturer's numbers so the frame holds under load Cables routed right: home gym and functional-trainer cables seated and tensioned so the stack moves smooth Anchored and level: racks bolted down and cardio machines leveled so nothing tips, rocks, or walks Space cleared: heavy boxes moved, packaging broken down and hauled away, floor left clean.

And because we're fully insured, you're covered from the moment we pull into the driveway.

Serving the Upstate since 2014, we take pride in our 4.9★ rating from over 134 reviews.

No. We assemble the gazebo you buy. This usually saves money — retailers mark up installation, and you keep the manufacturer's warranty relationship.
