Don't be the parent in the garage on December 23rd with a 300-pound box and a 60-page manual. Box To Built assembles the big Christmas gifts (playsets, trampolines, basketball goals, bikes, and more) well before the holiday, so they're built, safe, and ready.
If it came in a box and it's meant to be under (or behind) the tree, we build it. The big ones we assemble every December:
The biggest gift of the season, and the biggest build. A wooden playset can have hundreds of parts and take two adults a full weekend. We assemble it level, square, and anchored so it's ready to climb Christmas morning. We build sets from Backyard Discovery, KidKraft, Gorilla Playsets, Swing-N-Slide, Lifetime, and more. See our playset assembly service for full details.
From 10-foot backyard trampolines to 16-foot rectangles with safety enclosures, we install the frame, springs, mat, net, and pole padding, then secure it with ground anchors so it stays put in a winter wind. Skywalker, Springfree, JumpSport, Zupapa, and big-box brands are all welcome.
Portable hoops can be built any time up to our last booking date. In-ground goals need to be booked early. The concrete footing has to cure for at least 72 hours before the pole and backboard go on. We handle Goalrilla, Goaliath, Silverback, Pro Dunk, Spalding, Lifetime, and more. Full details are on our basketball goal installation page.
A bike in a box is "mostly assembled," until you're the one adjusting the brakes at midnight. We install the handlebars, front wheel, seat, and pedals (threaded the right way), then adjust the brakes and check the tire pressure so it's safe to ride on Christmas Day. We also build balance bikes, scooters, and battery-powered ride-on cars.

Build while they're away: during school hours, at a practice, or while they're at Grandma's.
Book as soon as your gift is ordered, ideally by early December. Holiday build dates fill fast, and in-ground basketball goals need extra lead time for concrete to cure. Here's the stress-free timeline:
IKEA: PAX, KALLAX, MALM, BILLY and the rest of the flat-pack catalog Wayfair & Amazon: the big online sellers Ashley, Pottery Barn & West Elm: showroom and delivered pieces Any big-box or secondhand find: Target, Walmart, and Facebook Marketplace pickups.
Bring us the item and we'll quote it the same day. We arrive with our own tools, drivers, and levels, so you don't have to buy or rent a thing.
The cost depends on which gift you're having built. Starting prices for each service are listed on its own page:
A few things can affect the final price: the size of the gift, the site (sloped yards, tight spaces, and in-ground concrete work add time and materials), and how many gifts you're having built. Booking several gifts on the same visit is the most efficient way to get everything done before Christmas.
Send us a photo of the box or the model number and we'll give you a firm, same-day quote with no surprise fees.
Plenty of parents try. Here's what usually happens:
Professional assembly means every bolt is torqued to spec, every structure is level and anchored, and you spend Christmas Eve with your family instead of the instruction manual.
Typical build times for our crew:
We'll give you a clear time window when we quote, so you can plan the kids' schedule around it.

If something is missing or damaged, we'll tell you right away and help you get the part. That's exactly why we recommend opening the box as soon as it arrives.
